Due to the handmade nature of our products, variations in colour, texture, weight, fragrance, design and packaging may occur between batches. We strive to ensure consistency wherever reasonably possible.

Pricing

All prices are listed in Euros (EUR). Delivery charges are additional and clearly displayed during checkout.

We reserve the right to update prices at any time without notice. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been placed.

For orders delivered outside the European Union, the price paid to The Moher Soap Co. does not include customs duties, import taxes, tariffs, brokerage charges or other charges imposed by the destination country unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout.

Payment

We accept payments via Stripe (Credit/Debit Card) and PayPal. Orders will only be dispatched once full payment is received.

All payments are processed securely. The Moher Soap Co. does not store your payment or card information.

We are not responsible for any bank, card or currency-conversion charges incurred during checkout or as a result of your payment provider.

If payment is declined or not authorised, your order will be automatically cancelled.

Customs, Duties, Tariffs & Taxes

Customers ordering from outside Ireland and the European Union are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, carrier administration fees or other import charges that may apply in their country.

These charges are imposed by the destination country's customs authorities or delivery provider and are separate from the shipping charge paid to The Moher Soap Co.

For orders to the United States, additional US import duties, tariffs, taxes and/or customs or carrier administration charges may apply. The amount payable depends on the products being imported, their customs classification, the value of the shipment and the US import rules and tariff rates applicable at the time of import.

The Moher Soap Co. does not control these charges and cannot guarantee the amount that may be requested by US Customs, the carrier or another authority.

Customers are responsible for paying any applicable import charges.

If an order is refused, abandoned or returned because the recipient does not wish to pay applicable import charges, the customer remains responsible for any charges associated with the return or abandonment of the shipment.

Customs charges are separate from our product prices and standard shipping charges unless we specifically state otherwise at checkout.

Shipping & Delivery

Please ensure your delivery address is accurate and complete. We are not responsible for undelivered items resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address.

Orders are typically dispatched within 48 hours. However, during busy periods or in the event of postal disruption, such as strikes or holidays, dispatch or delivery may take longer.

We retain proof of postage.

If an order is returned to us due to non-collection, refusal of delivery or failure to pay applicable customs or import charges, we will contact you regarding the next steps.

If you would like an order re-sent, you may be invoiced for any additional shipping costs.

Any refund will be dealt with in accordance with your statutory consumer rights and the circumstances of the order.

Cancellations & 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

Consumers purchasing goods online generally have a statutory right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, subject to applicable legal exceptions.

From 19 June 2026, EU rules require online traders to provide an electronic function allowing consumers to exercise their right of withdrawal.

The Moher Soap Co. provides this facility through the Withdraw from Contract button on our website. Customers may also contact us at info@themohersoapco.com with a clear statement that they wish to withdraw from their purchase.

We will acknowledge receipt of an online withdrawal request.

After notifying us of their withdrawal, the customer must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us.

The customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning unwanted goods.

Goods should only be handled to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. The customer may be responsible for any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond this.

For health and hygiene reasons, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed cosmetic products that are unsuitable for return once opened where the seal has been broken after delivery.

Refunds Following Withdrawal

Where a customer validly exercises their statutory right of withdrawal, we will refund the payments received, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option.

If the customer selected a more expensive delivery option than our least expensive standard delivery option, the additional delivery cost will not be refunded.

Refunds will normally be processed within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notification. Where goods are being returned, we may wait until we have received the returned goods or the customer has provided evidence that they have been sent back, whichever happens first.

Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase.

The customer is responsible for the cost of returning unwanted goods.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects statutory rights relating to faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods.

Privacy Policy

We do not sell or share your personal data, such as your name, email address or postal address, with third parties, except where necessary to fulfil your order, process payment, arrange delivery or otherwise provide our services.

We may contact you regarding your order or if you have subscribed to receive updates from us.

Statutory Rights

These Terms & Conditions do not affect your statutory rights under Irish or applicable EU consumer protection law.

All products offered for sale by The Moher Soap Co. comply with applicable Irish and EU cosmetics legislation.

By placing an order, you agree that the contract is governed by the laws of Ireland, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply in your country of residence.
